Pump Protection and Efficiency ImprovementBelzona’s range of epoxy coatings is designed for a variety of service conditions, offering robust protection and performance enhancement. Our Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal) provides long-term erosion-corrosion protection, while Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) uses hydrophobic technology to reduce turbulent flow, increasing pump efficiency. Efficiency gains of up to 7% on new pumps and up to 20% on refurbished equipment have been recorded.

For pumps exposed to heavy wear, such as sludge or sewage pumps, Belzona’s abrasion-resistant linings incorporate hard fillers for maximum protection. Belzona 1131 (Bearing Metal), with its self-lubricating composition, protects pump shafts from wear and seizure by creating low-friction surfaces.
